Why is this Important?
The invasion of Poland by Germany in 1939 essentially began the greatest conflict in modern history. Adolf Hitler had been mourning the defeat of Germany in World War I. He craved attention and revenge on Germany's behalf. Germany was showing their true colors after their selfish act of rage.
